Halloween Parade

I LOVE this time of year. The days are crisp...okay, the last couple of days have just been COLD, the leaves are glorious and Halloween is HERE!!! L's school (and formerly P's too) has a Halloween Parade every year and it is TOO cute. Lots of kids, all dressed up and lots of parents with cameras...I LOVE IT! So, L just CAN'T decide on her outfit....one day it is Cinderella, another a butterfly and on some days a Fairy. She really wanted to sport her Cinderella outfit today, but it was too chilly. I bought her a TOO cute costume from Gymboree but now she is just NOT feeling that one. So, she found the Alice dress in her Dress Up Box and she said "YES, THIS IS THE ONE....GOT IT MOM?"...ok I got it.

The only problem....well, she refused to not wear her red shoes....so I am assuming this is a Alice in Wonderland falls in to Kansas deal she has going on...a little confusing, but none-the-less...cute.

There were some really adorable costume and the teachers were having a blast

Finally A LOGO!!!!

I have been working on getting a logo for a while....I have been working on some things and nothing thrilled me....I am NO graphic designer. I stumbled across the website of Tara Staton... http://www.tarastatondesigns.blogspot.com/ and she had several logos that I was in love with. She is TOTALLY WAY talented and her photography is super great. So, I have adopted a logo from her and I am lovin' it!!!

THANK YOU, TARA. You have helped me to move further into my new venture and I really am grateful to have gotten to meet you in this world called cyberspace.

Lovin' the Fall in North Carolina

We spent last weekend in Brevard, NC. We have been going to the Fall/Halloween Festival there for years and it is always so beautiful. I was able to get some pictures of the kids before the Festival, L was a butterfly and P was dracula.


I took both of my cameras this weekend and was excited to get some fun shots of the kids. My D60 has become my "knock-around camera"...and it still takes awesome pictures.

Waiting to hear the winners of the costume contest announced!P after winning 2nd place!!! L is thinking that this is NOT her brother!

I took these pictures in the most dense of fogs...so I have a bit of a mist on these pictures. I love the trees and the colors and just how wonderful it is in NC! The kids were soaked, but wanted to jump in leaves.

This picture is of my mom enjoyin all of the leaves, the light was coming through the trees and was magical....it was 10 AM and you can see the light in the fog.

I took some pictures of my baby sister and her husband...we were having a blast and it is shown in these photos...you are the best Little E!!!

ALL Girl equals ALL Fun

So much fun!!! "Little Girl AK" could not have been more fun. She was beautiful with a head full of curly blond hair and bright blue eyes. She was independent and funny, she plays the harmonica and LOVED the geese!! Thank you for choosing me to take her pictures. MORE to come online soon!

A Beautiful Fall Day!

Good Morning....I had a blast yesterday with the "M Family" from my neighborhood...I might have had more fun than they did!! :) The weather was perfect and come 5 PM, the light was wonderful. We went to 3 different locations and Cousin J and Baby L showed up for some great pictures as well.

This is a just a peek...we took over 500 pictures, so I can't wait to find some new favorites!!

7 year old twins and a 4 year sister, they are SOO gorgeous with beautiful eyes!! Mama C...they were awesome, thank you for letting me photograph them.
